MCP server

Connect your AI agent to NextAgent

A proper door for your personal AI. Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor and other agents can look up our services, read our articles, see our prices, including the SEO report and run a free website check directly, without scraping pages.

Server URL

https://nextagent.ca/mcp

Streamable HTTP, no login, read-only.

What this is

MCP (Model Context Protocol) is the open standard that lets an AI assistant use outside tools and data. This server gives your agent a small set of clear, read-only tools for nextagent.ca, answering from the same content as this website.

Ask your agent about NextAgent in plain language and it will pick the right tool. Everything is in English, Chinese.

Why every website needs a door for your AI agent

Connect in a minute

No account or API key. Menu names change often; if yours differs, look for “connectors”, “custom MCP server” or “plugins”.

Claude (claude.ai, desktop and mobile)

  1. Open Customize, then Connectors (older versions: Settings, then Connectors).
  2. Click + Add, then Add custom connector.
  3. Name it NextAgent and paste https://nextagent.ca/mcp as the URL.
  4. Leave authentication off (no sign-in) and click Add.
  5. In a chat, press + at the lower left, open Connectors and switch NextAgent on.

On Team and Enterprise plans an owner adds the connector first under Organization settings, then members click Connect.

ChatGPT

  1. Open chatgpt.com/plugins, press +, and choose Add custom MCP server.
  2. Name it NextAgent, add a short description, and for Connection choose a public endpoint.
  3. Paste https://nextagent.ca/mcp as the URL.
  4. Choose no authentication, confirm the risk notice, and press Create as a plugin.
  5. In a new chat, type @ and pick NextAgent.

Availability depends on your plan and workspace policy; in some workspaces an admin has to allow custom MCP servers. OpenAI renames these menus from time to time.

Claude Code

  1. Run this in your terminal, then ask Claude Code about NextAgent.
claude mcp add --transport http nextagent https://nextagent.ca/mcp

Cursor, VS Code and other clients

  1. Add this to the client’s MCP configuration (for Cursor: ~/.cursor/mcp.json or .cursor/mcp.json in a project).
{
  "mcpServers": {
    "nextagent": {
      "url": "https://nextagent.ca/mcp"
    }
  }
}

If your client only supports local (stdio) servers:

{
  "mcpServers": {
    "nextagent": {
      "command": "npx",
      "args": ["-y", "mcp-remote", "https://nextagent.ca/mcp"]
    }
  }
}

VS Code (.vscode/mcp.json) and some clients want "type": "http" next to the url.

What your agent can do

Nine read-only tools and one prompt. This list is generated from the server itself, so it is always current. Tool descriptions are written for the agent, which is why they are in English.

Try asking

  • “What does NextAgent do, and where are they based?”
  • “Which NextAgent service would suit a small restaurant that wants an AI receptionist?”
  • “How much is the NextAgent SEO report and what does it include?”
  • “Run a quick check of example.com and tell me what to fix first.”
  • “Find NextAgent’s articles on AI grants for Canadian small businesses.”

Privacy and limits

  • Read-only and public: no login, no cookies, nothing is created, ordered or paid through this server. Your agent gets the same public content as a visitor.
  • We keep no conversation. Each request stands alone, and we log only the tool name, whether it worked, how long it took and the client program’s name. Your IP address is used in memory to apply the rate limits and is not part of those records.
  • Fair-use limits per client: 120 requests a minute, and the website check 5 an hour and 20 a day. The check reads only the public homepage, robots.txt and sitemap of the domain you name.
  • Orders, payments and bookings happen on the website, by you. Prices are quoted exactly as the site shows them. We never promise search rankings, and a good check result is not a guarantee.
