Portfolio — 20+ Websites Delivered: from landing pages to full-stack platforms, across 10+ industries
Medical, education, e-commerce, local services, professional services — 20+ websites built, deployed, and operated on our own server fleet. We don't just ship them; we keep them alive.
NexAgent has delivered and operates 20+ websites on its own multi-server fleet: clinic platforms, a private high school site with an online classroom, brand e-commerce, local-service lead-gen sites, an alumni platform, and more. One containerized zero-public-port deployment pattern, with AI content or AI support on most sites. Clients anonymized.
A website is where most clients start with us. This page isn't about a single project — it's the body of website work we've built, deployed, and operated on our own server fleet, from single-page lead-gen sites to full-stack platforms with memberships, payments, an LMS, and AI support. Three things are constant: bilingual (EN/ZH) is standard; everything is containerized with zero public inbound ports on the servers; and we keep operating the sites after launch instead of disappearing at handoff.
Privacy note: client names and domains are anonymized and described by industry and function. Our own brand projects are the exception.
The challenge
Different industries mean entirely different things by 'a website': clinics need booking and compliance, schools need courses and exam registration, e-commerce needs payments and inventory, local services need lead forms and SEO. One template for every industry fits nobody — and starting each project from zero makes costs unpredictable.
Our approach
Assemble capability modules per industry instead of stretching a template: a shared deployment foundation (containers + tunnel egress + zero public ports) keeps operations uniform, while each site composes what it needs — marketing pages, CMS, memberships, booking, payments, LMS, AI support, AI content pipelines. The primary stack is modern React full-stack; we also host and operate WordPress properties — existing client WordPress assets get taken over and maintained, not force-rewritten.
Results
20+ websites delivered to date, roughly 20 currently in production, across 10+ industries: healthcare, education, e-commerce, local services, professional services, culture and community. Deployment spans two tracks — our own server fleet and the Cloudflare edge network (Pages / Workers / D1 / R2). The longest-running sites have operated for years; most are continuously hosted, monitored, and iterated by us.
Healthcare & wellness
The highest bar for regulation and trust:
- Medical-aesthetics chain AI member platform: bilingual site + AI consultation, booking integration, member rewards, and an autonomous SEO optimization agent.
- Multi-service clinic bilingual site: two legacy domains merged and rebuilt as one, including an immigration-medical-exam line and per-locale SEO routing.
- Anti-aging research institute brand site: deeply customized WordPress, brand-linked to the clinic group.
- Functional-medicine patient portal: the clinical pipeline from inquiry to treatment completion, online.
Education
The full chain from acquisition to teaching delivery:
- BC-certified private high school: website + custom CMS + EN/ZH content + student/parent/teacher accounts + an AP exam registration system.
- The same school's online classroom: self-hosted LMS plus self-hosted video conferencing — the whole online-teaching chain owned end to end.
- Education consulting platform: BC private-school applications and Ivy planning, Chinese-primary bilingual, lead capture and a school database.
- AP prep platform: question banks, diagnostics, AI tutoring, teacher dashboard — see the education case study.
- Multiple additional self-hosted LMS instances operated for different teaching brands.
E-commerce & brands
- Tea-beverage brand store: brand site + online ordering + Stripe online/POS payments + self-hosted auth and file services.
- Auto-accessories store: bilingual shop in a minimalist dark brand style with an AI shopping assistant.
- Real-estate brand site: headless CMS content management, edge deployment, inquiries straight to the inbox.
Local & professional services
- Pressure-washing lead-gen site: a local service company's marketing site and quote form, delivered fast on WordPress.
- Immigration-exam payment page: a minimal payment page on the processor's hosted checkout, with server-side price validation against tampering.
- CPA firm platform: AI content with CPA sign-off — see the dedicated case study.
Culture & community
- Alumni association platform: event publishing, registration, waitlists and automated reminders, role-based access and media privacy, AI-assisted content drafting.
- Trilingual media company site: Traditional/Simplified Chinese + English, three switchable themes, one-line briefs expanded by AI into trilingual articles.
- AI cinema platform demo: a streaming-style product demo built for investors.
Edge & serverless delivery (Cloudflare)
Beyond our own server fleet, a set of sites runs directly on the Cloudflare edge network — zero server maintenance, globally fast:
- Alumni association platform: static generation + edge functions + edge database and object storage (Pages + Workers + D1 + R2) — event registration, waitlists, and reminders fully serverless.
- Real-estate brand site: edge runtime + headless CMS, with content updates triggering incremental rebuilds automatically.
- Trilingual media site: static edge hosting with an AI-assisted trilingual drafting backend.
- Course-notes portal: lecture notes published to the web in one step — Workers + edge database + object storage on a custom domain.
- Edge credential gateway (in-house infrastructure): an API credential proxy and remote MCP gateway on Workers — keys live in edge Secrets, and any AI agent on any machine calls shared paid APIs with a single token.
Two deployment tracks, chosen per project: backend-heavy, data-sovereign work goes on our own fleet; content-driven, globally distributed sites go to the edge. No dogma.
One operations foundation
Every site shares the same deployment discipline:
- Fully containerized, isolated per site.
- Egress through encrypted tunnels only — servers expose zero public inbound ports.
- Automated nightly backups; off-site disaster recovery for core sites.
- AI capability on most sites: content pipelines, AI support, or SEO automation.
The second half of website delivery is operations. What we sell isn't 'launched' — it's 'still online.'
Technical breakdown
- Primary stack: Next.js / React + Python or Node backends + PostgreSQL, deployed with Docker Compose.
- WordPress properties hosted, customized, and operated alongside (Elementor, multilingual plugins, and more).
- Cloudflare Tunnel egress with per-site tunnels — zero public inbound ports.
- Payments: Stripe online/POS and processor-hosted checkout (hosted tokenization).
- Self-hosted capabilities: LMS (Moodle), video conferencing (Jitsi), object storage (MinIO), auth and file services (Supabase).
- Edge track: Cloudflare Pages / Workers / D1 / R2 with Astro and Next.js Edge Runtime — static and serverless sites with zero server maintenance.
Reusable lessons
- Industry dictates the shape of a website: modular capabilities assembled per industry beat one-template-fits-all on both speed and fit.
- Zero public ports plus tunnel egress is what lets a small team operate dozens of sites and still sleep.
- WordPress is not the enemy: take over and operate existing client assets, and rewrite only when it's actually time.
- Recurring revenue comes from operations: monitoring, backups, and content upkeep are what long-term contracts are made of.
